Tom is the third member of the Bott family in four generations to direct a Light Classical Palm Court Orchestra, as both Tom’s Grandfather and Great-Grandfather were professional violinists with their own orchestras from the 1920’s through to the 1960’s. It is the original music passed down to Tom that the High Society Orchestra uses today – all unique and original arrangements.

As well as directing the High Society Orchestra, Tom also performs with some of the UK’s leading orchestras such as the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra and the Royal Scottish National Symphony Orchestra.

Tom often sits as principal 2nd Violin with the National Symphony Orchestra who regularly perform with artists such as Katherine Jenkins and Lesley Garrett.
All High Society Orchestra members are accomplished musicians in their own right, frequently performing with all the major Symphony Orchestras in London and the UK.
The style of music the High Society Orchestra can offer is incredibly versatile; from Viennese Strauss Waltzes, Polkas, Tangos, Fox-Trots, Paso-Dobles and intermezzos to the Broadway shows, and film music of Irving Berlin, together with Rogers & Hammerstein favourites such as South Pacific, My Fair Lady, The Sound Of Music and Oklahoma.
